Cirque Numerique once again delivered a generous dose of discovery and surprise during the 18th edition of Cirque Plus 2025. In the sun-drenched garden of the Grootseminarie, we were introduced to six young circus creators: Milli Gobbi, ALONSO, La Nams, ShuHuan Chang, Au Creux du Ventre, and Buitengewoon. Each of them presented a short, powerful act that made a strong impression, after which a professional jury had the task of selecting a winner.
And the winner was… Milli Gobbi with La Fille au Coeur Brisé!
With a clownish solo full of contortion and raw emotion, she introduced the audience to a disarming character balancing between love and lovelessness, searching for self-love. Humor and tenderness go hand in hand in this moving performance, which can be described as a gentle, unconventional feminist cry.
*Cirque Numerique has been a fixture within Cirque Plus for many years. It offers new circus talent a stage to present a short act. During the festival, a professional jury selects the winner, who then gets the opportunity to travel with Uitwijken Circus in the following year. In December 2025, we will launch the open call for Cirque Numerique 2026.
