Whether you're a seasoned circus fan, a curious passer-by, young or old, agile or less mobile, a language whiz or not at all — Cirque Plus welcomes you with open arms. We go all out to make our open-air festival in the heart of Bruges accessible, welcoming, and unforgettable for everyone. Discover why Cirque Plus is truly your place to be.

1. Completely free (and deliciously affordable)

Cirque Plus is open to everyone — and you don’t need to open your wallet. Entry to the festival and all performances is entirely free, with just one exception: a single paid show. This way, we lower the threshold and open culture to all.

Feeling hungry or thirsty? At our cosy bar and food stalls, we offer drinks and snacks at fair prices. You're also welcome to bring your own water bottle — fill it up for free with fresh tap water at the bar.

2. Circus without words

Language should never be a barrier. That’s why we’ve selected mostly performances with little to no spoken text. Perfect for people with hearing impairments, newcomers, or anyone less fluent in language. And even when there is some text, the shows are easy to follow.

3. Accessible grounds for all

We make sure people with disabilities can move around easily. Think: solid paths over the grass, wheelchair-accessible toilets, and on-site assistance at our info desk. For ticketed shows, you can reserve wheelchair spaces via info@inenuitbrugge.be. Check our location sheet (in Dutch) for all practical details about accessibility, surfaces, and thresholds.

4. For young, old, and everyone in between

The Cirque Plus programme is a celebration for all ages. Whether you're a toddler, a thrill-seeking teen, or a culture-loving adult — there’s something for everyone. Expect circus, theatre, dance, music, cabaret, and even a touch of edgy performance art for the night owls among us.

5. Safe, respectful, and welcoming

Everyone deserves a place where they feel free, safe, and welcome. That’s why we tolerate no form of discrimination, harassment, or violence. Notice something off? Talk to a staff member, ask for Angela at the bar, info desk or first aid post, or scan the QR code at the toilets or info point. Be kind to one another. Cirque Plus belongs to everyone — including you.

We have also established a number of house rules to ensure the festival proceeds as respectfully as possible.
